Our mission is to support clients and their families to better understand themselves, why they are struggling, and how to access the support they need.

Diagnostic assessments are often a key step to helping a client get matched with the intervention that is best practice for their individual challenges. Oftentimes, diagnoses help clients connect with others who are experiencing similar struggles, and this sense of connection and community is immeasurable in the support it provides. 

We strongly believe that everyone deserves high quality and thorough evaluations. To that end, we devote most of our time to working with low-income students in local area schools. In our Pembroke clinic, while we do not take insurance, our rate is often significantly less than our competitors so that we are more accessible to those who need testing.

The decision to not take insurance is not an easy one. Unfortunately, insurance companies currently dictate too much (e.g., what we can and cannot test for, how long it should take, what measures need to be used) and over the years we have learned that this does not allow us to spend the time we need to with our clients to provide the individualized support we know you deserve. We will always provide what is called a “Superbill” so that you can seek reimbursement from your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits. You also will receive a Good Faith Estimate, which will provide a detailed breakdown of all costs, so you never have to worry about any surprises or extra fees.
